They’re on my shelf, waiting for me to get the time to try them out, but they are both solid pieces of kit. Would I like using a folding bipod? I bought a UTG-Pro rail adapter and a UTG-Pro adjustable bipod to see. They’re not particularly easy to put on or take off, but they hold up well. Since I’ve bought other rail brands based on weight, features and other factors - like the Knights rail I got for my M4 clone because it was “correct”.

For a small outlay, I was able to figure out what I wanted from a rail, how to work with one, and so on. My rail is quite old and may be pre UTG-Pro. I have used one of their rails, some rail covers, and a couple of other things. Glad that the UTG is working out for you, but if you want to try something else in the future you might look at the GG&G "MAD." Sits very low, it rides under my Leupold 1-4 in a Bobro mount. I'm not a pro or an operator, my HD gear is all handguns, and these builds are mostly range guns, so failure is an option. The UTG fits with a little room to spare, and was $24, which frees up some budget for the other upgrades I'm working on. I have several name brand BUIS - ARMS 40, ARMS 40L, Matech, YHM, and none of them would fit under my Burris RT-6 in a LT204 mount. There's some concern about a plastic bearing in it that some people replace with a metal one, but I doubt I'll go that far. I got one of their "super slim" rear sights recently, and it's been fine, but it's a BUIS and doesn't see much actual use. I just don't know if it's PRO or Chinese made. completely locked up the sight wheel and made it useless. Stripped out the wheel screw trying to just get it set up to zero. I couldn't come up with an LMT fixed rear sight so I tried out an AIMSPORTS copy. I picked up one of their rear fixed sights and I'm pretty happy with them.
